INALAB 2024 together with Indonesia Food Manufacturing Exhibition 2024, Indonesia Chemistry Exhibition 2024, Indonesia Smart Factory Exhibition 2024 and INAPHARM Indonesia 2024 will be held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia from July 30 to August 1, 2024. INALAB 2024 is the ideal platform to showcase the latest laboratory equipment and analytical instruments from various industries to the Indonesian laboratory industry and Asia Pacific region. The exhibition is a B2B trade show where all key players and decision makers from all industries can meet and share their ideas and experiences in developing more business networks.
Indonesia, as the largest market for the laboratory industry in the region, has a lot of potential in health-related needs. Under the universal health insurance introduced in 2014, a large number of Indonesians are entitled to healthcare, numbering more than 220 million people. Healthcare includes laboratory testing, and soon all 270 million residents will be entitled to benefit from it.
There are nearly 2,900 hospitals in Indonesia. Many of these hospitals have laboratory facilities. Usually, these facilities belong to the hospital itself. However, in other cases, they provide services to laboratory groups. There are 142 medical institutions in Indonesia, spread across 126 cities. According to the Ministry of Health, there are about 1,300 medical laboratories in Indonesia, 80% of which are privately owned.
